In addition to its fascinating Gold Rush past, the Sacramento area is rich with an amazing array of state-of-the-art museums and historic sites that offer visitors the chance to explore California’s fine art, history, science, and wildlife treasures all year long.  In April, many of the 30 members of Sacramento Association of Museums (SAM) are celebrating the season with a diverse variety of family-friendly festivals, a sampling of which follows:

Sacramento’s HIREvent will put jobseekers face-to-face with dozens of representatives from area organizations with exciting opportunities for new careers to bloom. Both public and private-sector employers are eager to fill rewarding positions in a wide variety of fields.

Sacramento’s HIREvent will be on Tuesday, April 9, from noon to 4 pm at the Masonic Temple building downtown at 1123 J Street.
