Deadheading at Dusk

Deadheading at Dusk

Join volunteers at the Historic City Cemetery, 1000 Broadway, Sacramento, August 8, 2011 (and every 2nd Monday through September) starting at 630PM until the sun goes down for “Deadheading at Dusk”.  We will be removing spent blooms from the many rosebushes, and tidying up the garden which encourages repeat blooming of the roses in this Historic Rose Garden.  Tools and training will be provided for these gardening workshops.  Light refreshments will be served.  Parking is located across the street from the 10th Street gate.  Workshops are free; however, donations are appreciated and go for restoration and preservation of cemetery artifacts.  For more information, call 916.264.7839 or 916.448.0811.
